Abstract: The Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) is an ambitious optical imaging survey, to be undertaken at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory in Chile, using an 8.4-meter telescope and 3.2-gigapixel camera that will observe 18,000 deg^2 of sky over 10 years, generating a final 15-petabyte database cataloging 20 billion galaxies and 17 billion stars. I will describe two efforts at processing precursor datasets in preparation for the survey: (1) Data Preview 0.2 (DP0.2), which processed 300 deg^2 of simulated LSST-like images from the Dark Energy Science Collaboration (DESC) for their Data Challenge 2 (DC2); and (2) ongoing processing of real imaging data observed using the 1.2-meter Rubin Auxiliary Telescope (AuxTel). In particular, I will discuss aspects of the LSST data processing framework and science pipelines.
